Hello,
I am on my third day of creating my first starter. I used King Arthur whole wheat flour the first day (110 grams / 110 grams water). Day 2 I saw quite a bit of activity and fed it with 110 gm of KA unbleached flour / 110 gm water. Day 3 my starter is very runny. I do not see a lot of activity but did see some clear(ish) liquid on top of the starter. I poured off the liquid and discarded 1/2 the starter and fed as normal.
Why is my starter getting so runny? Am I doing something wrong?
