Hello
I have been trying to get a sourdough starter going for about a month now. They bubble but never expand in volume. I've gone up to 10 days. I've tossed about 4 batches, I'm on my 5th try. I've read through all the blog and comments to make sure I am doing it right. I've found some good flour from a local mill. Sometimes I wonder if all the sanitizing I have been doing is killing all the "good bugs" too! I'm in California so the air is dry. The house is warm. Nice bubbles to start but nothing more than that for day after day! I'm going to try this one for at least 2 weeks. That is the only thing left to try that I know of. Wondering if you have any other ideas. Thanks! Love the blog and the website!
