I began a starter with potato water, flour, and just a smidge of sugar. It was bubbling quite a bit after the first day then flattened out with liquid on top. I started feeding it after this, twice a day, with flour and regular water. I have not discarded any. I was going by a different recipe and I apparently missed that part. Anyway, when I fed this afternoon, it was still bubbly but not rising so much. What should I do?
