It sounds like you're describing what we do, just in a different container, Franca, which is totally fine. The important things when following our method are to make sure you're feeding the seed starter a proportional amount (4 oz starter, 4 oz water, 4 oz flour) and feeding a portion of it soon before putting it back to sleep in the fridge. After it's been at room temp for 6-10 hours, it needs more to munch on while it hibernates. Mollie@KAF
