It's true that it takes a few days for your starter to "come into it," so don't give up yet. It sounds like you might not be using a scale to measure you flour and water by weight. We highly recommend doing this if possible, or measuring your flour like this if using measuring cups. Give it a few more days of regular feeding with equal parts flour and water by weight, and see if it thins out. It sounds like it's plenty active, which means you're off to a good start! Kye@KAF
