I'm on day 9 of the starter. Things seemed to be going well. There was some activity and it had a smell somewhat like sourdough bread. However, it was not doubling in volume. I missed a 12 hour feeding, but didn't think it would be a big deal. The starter has since become more active, as far as rising, almost doubling in 12 hours and quite bubbly, but now it is smelling like paint. There's no unusual color. Is there something wrong that I should be concerned about, or be doing different? Thanks
