Why is it so hard, flour and water, Mix until not to thick and leave it open until it starts bubbly, keep it in the refrigerator, take it out once a week and if it is to full, dump some out, if not put flour in add enough water to make it so it will stir and leave it out until it is boubbleing and put in the frigator I do it once a week unless I need to cook with it. There is a way to freeze it but I have never have tried it
