Thank you! I am having trouble knowing if my starter is still good. If the temperature is too hot for it and if it smells right. I'm new so could use some help. My husband says my starter smells like chicken poop. It certainly isn't a fresh and fruity smell. If it is too hot how do I control the temp? Otherwise, what could be making it go bad?
