If you've fallen off your feeding schedule slightly, your starter may be a little sluggish and slow to grow. Be sure you are discarding the proper amount (1 cup) and then adding in equal parts of flour and water by weight (4 ounces of each). It might be time to invest in a scale for best results! The bubbles are a sign that there are some healthy organisms in your starter, so return to feeding your starter two times a day (morning and night) and you should begin to see expansion along with the bubbles. If you are still not seeing any growth after a few days of this schedule, please give our Baker's Hotline a call at 855-371-BAKE so we can help you troubleshoot your starter. Good luck! Kye@KAF
