So I use the King Arthur Flour starter and recipe. Every time I feed the starter or use the starter, the recipe calls for 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup water. The resulting mix does not completely moisten the flour and the ball is thick and hard. I always wind up having to add at least 1/4 cup more water to get a usable dough. What am I doing wrong?
