Thanks for your prompt response, Laurie! And I appreciate the advice about using the starter when it is on the rise, something I was unaware of. This is a great site with lots of fabulous recipes(sourdough and otherwise). After yesterday's success with the amazing sourdough waffles from this site, I am very excited to try some more of your great recipes!
