Thank you for all the great advice and the question forum! I am on day 6 and its going great. I have 2 questions...
1. Is it OK if I only fed it once a day? I'm getting a slight rise and a classic sour dough smell.
2. Any suggestions on making this process neater with less dishes less clean up? Wondering if investing in a scale might dirty less dishes? Trying to mix and feed the starter in a large mason jar but dirty measuring cups and bowls are adding up now that I'm feeding a 2nd starter from a cast off and the daily bowl for the 2 casts offs with whatever I'm trying to make with today's castoffs. Giving the starter baby away soon!
