I just came back from San Francisco, so of course I am trying to make a sourdough starter. How crucial is it to start with whole grain flour? Mine is four days old, and I started with your bread four. It is bubbling after feelings, but not growing. Whole Grain flour is "better" for this, but not essential. From your description, it sounds like your starter is established and just needs regular feeding to be set for baking. Frank @ KAF.
