Hi Victoria, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, as we're always interested in hearing from bakers from all kinds of backgrounds. You bring up a valid point--this sweet, rum-drenched sponge cake is known as a Polish Babka or a "baba" in some places. Many variations of this tasty, traditional treat exist, and we encourage you to use the one that's closest to the babas (or babkas) of your childhood. Kindly, Kye@KAF
