THIS is NOT the babka I know, it's what is called a baba. A babka is a sweet bread that gets kneaded, rolled with a filling, raised then baked. A baba is a sponge cake that gets drenched with rum syrup. I'm 65, Polish & Hungarian by birth, and have eaten babka and babas all my life. This is sad. Get the terminology right please.
