I made this recipe this afternoon. It sounded great and easy. I consider myself an above average baker. I am very disappointed in the way this recipe turned out. It didn't raise very much as you stated in your comments in the bowl, or in the pan. The problem is it didn't raise at all or very much even in making. It looks terrible. I haven't cut it yet, but even if it tastes good it makes a terrible presentation! Don't make this recipe if you are planning on showing it off!! Thank goodness I only made it for us. I have a Nordic Ware bundt pan with the dark coating and cooked the cake or ?? for 25 minutes and then tested it and it was at 200 so I took it out and put the rum sauce on the top. Again, very disappointed in the appearance and that is part of baking too!!
