Hi PJ,
This pie looks amazing, but, unfortunately my grandkids don't like chocolate! I usually make lemon squares when I visit. I have a 50 year old recipe from a German friend I met when I lived in DC but it's "ify." Experimenting w lemon bar/square recipes I found Trisha Yearwood's to be the best. Do you have a foolproof recipe for lemon squares? Also, I recently tried decorating my shortbread hearts for mailing and discovered I am really bad at piping with the royal icing. Someday I'll find a "piping" class. My sisters and I go to Wellfleet every summer. Where do you live on the cape?
