My favorite Christmas cookie recipe is one that was published in Cooking Light magazine many years ago. It's a bar cookie with dates, pecans, mini chocolate chips and whiskey. I'm not a fan of whiskey, but it really makes these cookies special. I agree that liquor in baked goods really gives them that special something. I LOVE Irish cream and dark chocolate, so I imagine that would make these cupcakes to-die-for! I totally agree. The nutmeg logs we love have just a touch of rum in the icing, but without that extra burst of flavor, they just aren't the same magical cookie. Thanks for sharing! ~ MaryJane
