My son's grown and gone, but growing up cooking meant that he can easily cook good healthy food for himself, bread machine bread, KAF gluten free and I know that he is eating well, which is even more important when you are having to eat gluten free. It's a skill we should teach to all our little ones. I still remember giving him a set of omelet pans for his 8th birthday and he would make omelets, and make tea by putting tea bag in electric kettle, rather than a tea pot. And business degree not culinary. Well don Allison. Thanks Oonagh! I just giggled when I thought of the omelet pans for your son's 8th birthday - I can imagine those fun days to come with my daughter. As you point out, being able to bake/cook for ourselves gives us greater control over what we consume - empowering for both kids and adults alike! -Allison
