Perfect timing! I just told my kids (4 & 7) that each weekend they could pick something to cook/bake with me. They get to choose the recipe, plan out the ingredients, and do as much as possible in the making of the recipe. They're so excited! I've always tried to include them but it can be too stressful during weekdays. My daughter picked your easy monkey bread recipe for her weekend baking.
