Haha thank you for this!!! I've always struggled with the "coat the back of a spoon" directive ... This looks amazingly delicious, but I don't know what to put it on! I've never had the luxury of fresh lemon curd in the house, so I'm not sure what to do with it. Do I need to make some scones, too? Yes! This is a calling for scones. You may use it to flavor whipped cream, butter cream or pastry cream. You could also fill a tart shell with the curd followed by fresh fruit or spread the curd in between cake layers.
