These are one of my go-to bribes to get musicians who have a show in our area into our public radio studio for a locally produced program. Have had hugs from musicians, and thank-you calls from tour managers and booking agents. The best was an onstage shout out. I still owe his wife the recipe. I've tweaked it a bit around the spices, and I add chopped dried cherries.
