These turned out AMAZING. Light and fluffy and delicious! In anticipation of freezing half the batch, I increased the dry yeast to a full tablespoon. I also made the filling more exciting by adding some herbs and cheese. I definitely want to try these using just starter to rise them, and I'm waiting to see how well they come out after freezing. Thanks so much!
