My all-time, favorite chocolate frosting recipe is so simple--with only TWO ingredients--and is truly wonderful. Just melt semi-sweet chocolate bits and sour cream, using the SAME NUMBER OF OUNCES OF EACH! That's it! Melt the choc. bits carefully in a saucepan over low heat, stirring the entire time. Then mix in the sour cream, thoroughly! Then wait several minutes, spread on the cake, and be patient while it darkens and thickens. It's to die for! It's fudge-like, but not sickly sweet.
