Hi PJ, I hope you are having a Merry Christmas! This post reminds me of a question I was going to call the hotline with. My grandma's rum cake recipe calls for the kind of moist cake mix that includes pudding (or taking regular yellow cake mix and adding a box of pudding). Do you think this recipe would be a good substitute? I'd like to make her signature rum cake without all of the additives in mixes. Thanks for your help!
