Hi there, JD! We recommend shaping the baguettes, then grease the well of the baker and sprinkle them with cornmeal or semolina flour to prevent sticking. Once you've prepared the pan, transfer the shaped baguettes to the wells and place the lid on top of the baker. Let the baguettes rise as instructed and bake in the preheated oven.
