Hi Mary, you can defrost your dough in the fridge until it's thawed and then see if it will rise on the counter. There's a chance it may not rise as sourdough dough doesn't freeze well. Yeast doughs don't freeze well either since activated yeast dies when frozen but it's slightly more forgiving than sourdough, so we usually recommend fully baking recipes and then freezing loaves to reheat for later.
