Hi Kim, this is quite a big batch of dough, but if your bread machine is able to handle such a large quantity of dough, then you could knead the dough in the machine. Once the dough is kneaded I would take it out of the machine and let it rise for 15-20 minutes at room temperature in a greased bowl, and then proceed from there. Bread machines tend to warm up the dough quite a bit, and with all the yeast in this recipe I think the dough would do better at room temperature after kneading is complete.
