I grew pumpkins for the first time this year - variety Blaze - very pretty orange and yellow striped skin with pale yellow flesh. Maybe not as tasty as some, but still quite flavourful. I've just made some puree following your very easy instructions to use in some pumpkin muffins. After microwaving I was surprised at just how easy it was to cut in half - I usually struggle with the first cut when slicing, so I'm going to follow this tip for future pumpkins!
