I have a good question...im sort of new to baking with pumpkin, its my first time...I have already baked pumpkin and almond butter bars using the pumpkin pulp. For some reason, I figured all you had to do was scoop out the pulp and mix it up with ingredients and bake. I think i skipped a big step...i didnt boil the pumpkin or steam it or anything. Was i suppose to do that? It is unsanitary now? i baked the pumpkin puree with almond butter at 350degrees for 26 min.
i keep reading that everyone boils or bakes it before doing anything...ooooops....is this ok to eat now????
