I made this recipe exactly how it is posted and these turned out AMAZING. They look exactly as pictured and taste wonderful. Some pumpkin items come out too wet but these are perfect. The flavor is amazing with real pumpkin. I did not have pumpkin spice so I followed the directions to make my own. I added a vanilla glaze of my own (1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon of half/half and a teaspoon of vanilla paste (you can use vanilla too). If too thick, add a dash more half/half and then using a spoon over the muffin back and forth you will add a wonderful light glaze in a stripe pattern). Highly recommended.
