I have an old can of Bakewell Cream. How can I check to see if it is still viable? I have been buying frozen biscuits and now my mouth is watering to make my own and freeze them for that late night snack. YUM. Butter and Jam on them. You can't really check, Ginny, so far as I know. My can is several years old and it still works; since there's no baking soda in it, it has less chance of "losing its fizz" than regular baking powder... PJH
