Hi, Ivana, if you can find another type of concentrated juice (cherry comes to mind) that would work nicely. Or you could try substituting for the 2 tablespoons of boiled cider called for in both the topping and the cake parts of this recipe, with a tablespoon of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey.
