"Oh heavens"...that's what my husband said when he took his first bite. I have to admit, this was pretty awesome and the house smelled like apples, or maybe it was a combination of apples and boiled cider! Just one question though, when I reheated the balance of the topping to drizzle on the cake once it was out of the pan, should I have waited to do the drizzle a bit? It seemed a bit runny, although before it ran off the plate, it ran a bit slower. This is sure to be a repeated recipe, thanks!
