It's hard to weigh the batter when it's in a bowl, unless you have rememberd to weigh the empty bowl beforehand. I found it easier to pour the batter into an 8-cup glass measure. It came to about 5 cups. Then I poured half of that (2.5 cups) into each baking pan. You may have more batter; just divide it mentally in half when pouring the first pan.
