I made this cake for my son's 17th birthday on Tuesday. Since my pans weren't big enough for all the batter, I made a two layer cake and used the extra batter to make some cupcakes. Taking your advice, I baked the cake a day early so that the flavors could develop. Fantastic results. Thanks!
