I made these tonight and even my 8yo daughter who hates veggies loved them. I did sprinkle in about 1/2 tsp of blackening seasoning with the breadcrumbs, just to boost the flavor a pinch. The dip was awesome and I can't wait to try it on sandwiches! For those who asked about cukes, you can do this with pickle chips, and make fried pickles, but I can't imagine it would work well with fresh cukes.
