I found this gluten free recipe about 7 years ago when trying to make a birthday cake for my grandson. I happened to have a box of King Arthur GF flour on hand as I had been diagnosed with Celiac 10 years ago. I was so excited to try this recipe as
angel food cake has always been my favorite, but had never actually made one, instead purchased it. So I've been making this for all my grandchildren's birthdays since then, topped with whipped cream and strawberries, at their specific requests. My question is a bit different, does anyone else have this problem, it isn't easy to remove the cake from the pan. I use a spatula, and eventually loosen it enough to remove it, but then takes a few DAYS of soaking the angel food pan in order to clean it. The only thing I do differently for the recipe is making superfine sugar in the blender as I cannot find any in the stores. Help.
