I made this dough with Miller Lite ( from my brother in laws visit : ) which is a Pilsner, and it was so tasty. It did not taste like beer, however, it did yield a mellow, malty flavor that was excellent with Italian strained tomatoes, grated Grana cheese, fresh basil and a few red chili flakes and and a vibrant but not overpowering EVO. I now make this dough once a week, it is very delicious. The beer just makes the pizza dough interesting and nuanced.
