Custard-style pies don't tend to hold up well in the freezer. You can, however, make the crust in advance. You can mix the dough and freeze it as a disc or even rolled out in your pie pan. Let it thaw in the fridge overnight before adding the filling and baking the next day. We hope this helps you get a bit ahead of the game so you can enjoy this zesty pie when a lemon craving hits.
