Hi Sara- So this crust is definitely going to be best if made fresh. However, if you are going to try making it ahead, your best bet will be to bake it off and freeze the product, double-wrapped in plastic, just after it cools. You would then want to thaw it out, overnight in the refrigerator the night before you would like to enjoy it, and then refresh it in the oven for about 10 minutes or until fully reheated. Then just enjoy! I'm not personally familiar with Philly style tomato pie, but this is certainly a pretty versatile recipe that can be used as a base for all sorts of recipes so I think it would probably be worth a try! And you could sub-out many other liquids, just milk or even water for the orange juice if you like. Happy Baking! Jocelyn@KAF
