I haven't visited this blog that much, but I would like to start making some of the recipes on here. I usually go to the regular site to view and save recipes. I've noticed that a lot of the recipes call for instant yeast and I would like to know how I can substitute dry active yeast for this recipes that call for instant yeast. I've read online that instant yeast saves time, but lacks in flavor and I'd rather stick to what I know. This is a great-looking recipe and I'd love to try it if someone would be so kind as to give me some advice about substituting regular yeast. Thanks Hi there, For using active dry yeast in our recipes here, just use the same amount as the instant yeast and let the yeast proof in some of the water from the recipe for about 10 minutes before beginning. Easy as pie and twice as nice. :) ~ MaryJane
