I want to make these, but I only have active dry yeast (Fleischmans). Can I use that instead? If so, do I need to make any adjustments?
Use the same amount of active dry yeast as the instant yeast called for in the recipe. Be sure to proof your active dry yeast (in 1/2 cup warm water from the recipe - some bakers like to use a pinch of sugar as well) and wait 10 minutes before you add the rest of the ingredients.
