Naima, these buns only need about 15-18 minutes to bake all the way through. It sounds like yours may have been over-baked or baked for too long in a low oven. You may consider checking the temperature of your oven to ensure it's running properly — if it is, you should have nicely browned, still tender buns in less than 20 minutes. Good luck! Kye@KAF
