Am going to make these NOW. A question about the picture of the ingredients pre-mixing: is that the butter, melted, that's been added? Maybe that's the egg. (I guess my question is do you need to melt the butter before adding.) I saw margarine could be substituted for butter -- what about a liquid vegetable oil? Thanks so much! You can use butter, margarine or oil. The butter doesn't have to be melted, but does need to be soft to incorporate well. ~ MaryJane
