I am sitting here at my desk with my mouth watering. can't wait to get home and make these to celebrate mother's day just for myself. i have one question...that sauce is quite hot, shouldn't it be cooled a little bit before pouring over the dough? i would hate for any of those yeast molecules to get overheated. Go ahead and pour. This is the same idea as pouring a warmed syrup over the dough when making Monkey Bread. Frank @ KAF.
