Thanks for another great recipe, PJ! I have two questions for you. Do you think that I could substitute any dried fruit, like apples, cherries, or apricots? Also, is there an egg-free alternative that you can recommend for the egg-wash step? We've got an egg allergy in our house. Yes, I think any dried fruit would be fine. And you could simply brush the cookies with water, or water with a bit of cornstarch- should work just fine. PJH
