I remember when these were made by Nabisco, years before Sunshine began making them. Amazing, isn't it? With the apparent popularity of these great little "biscuits", and the market they provided for California grape industry, the US baking companies closed down the product line.
My travels to Holland and parts of western Europe allow me to enjoy them when there. They are made and sold by more than one baking company. They make versions that have apple, raisin, pear, etc., fillings. All are good.
