After you remove 1 cup to discard (or use for pretzels) approximately how much starter do you have left to feed usually? 1/4 cup? 1/2 cup? 1 cup? Personally, I've built my starter to where I probably have about 2 cups left to feed. To increase the amount of starter, give it double feedings (2 cups flour/1 cup water) a few times, or until the volume is where you want it. PJH
