This just might work for me. A good many years ago I occasionally picked up lunch at a little place near where I worked and they made a cheeseburger with caramelized onions under cheddar cheese served on a toasted english muffin. At some point after that Thomas' made and marketed 'sandwich size' english muffins. I made a point to keep some in the freezer at all times. Then they disappeared from the store shelf and they're just a memory. So maybe if I made a couple fewer of these (and consequently bigger) and didn't use the rings (which I do have) I could satisfy a long-standing craving.
